Hi, I’m Kristy, owner of Phoenix Hair & Beauty

I guess you can call me a local having resided in Mudgeeraba for over 35 years,
I am a mum of two beautiful boys Luke & Archie
I have been hairdressing for over 28 years (yikes I’m old haha)

When I’m not at work, I’m hanging out with my boys and going away in our caravan every chance we get.

I started working at Phoenix at just 14 years of age. I started out as a tea & tidy on Thursday nights and Saturday’s. After realising that a career in hairdressing was exactly where I needed to be, I commenced a full-time apprenticeship.
After completing my apprenticeship and working as a senior hairdresser for some years, I would then go on to buy the salon in 2004.
I have owned Phoenix for over 18 years now, I love it just as much today as the day I started, if not more.

I have worked with Wella for the majority of my career, becoming a Master Colour Artist in 2003.
My specialty would be colour correction and special event styling, however I most enjoy maintaining amazing hair for my beautiful clients who have supported me for many years, I often say for me coming to work is like catching up with friends.

I love what I do, I love my clients, I work with an amazing bunch of people that I get to hang out with every day creating beautiful hair for our loyal and cherished clients.
